Nissan: 2019 Nissan Micra Cup kickoff weekend brings dual win for Olivier Bédard and historic track premiere of LEAF NISMO RC

Nissan Micra Cup magazine highlights exciting opening weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville

Mississauga, Ont. – The Nissan Micra Cup opened its 2019 season over the Victoria Day long weekend to a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) in Bowmanville.

The weekend saw three-time series winner Olivier Bédard securing victories at both Saturday and Sunday’s races. Bédard was followed closely in both races by Micra Cup rookie, Torontonian Marco Signoretti.

The next Micra Cup event will take place on June 1-2 for the Kyle Nash Memorial weekend at Calabogie Motorsports Park, south-west of Ottawa.
